First and Foremost

This is a blog on our experiences moving to another country and the adventures that will follow.  Well as I am hoping all of you know, we are married.  Going into this marriage I promised Rob that I would look into schools in London, although I was not really planning on moving anytime soon.  Well Rob looked into it much further than I did and found a school that takes American Financial Aide and I will get grants for moving overseas with my husband.  So in July I will hopefully be starting school at the American Intercontinental University.  Due to everything that is needed to be done in the next month or two, I have decided to take this quarter off to get ready for the move.  I am currently working on getting my medical clearance for the Air Force so I can be put on his orders.  This all supposedly has to be done by the 30th of this month, which is when he goes on leave.  Since this has all happened this past week, things have been very hectic for me.  This weekend however will be much better.  Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday and I wish I were there to celebrate with her.  Last year we had so much fun in the city seeing Wicked and going to Ruth’s Chris.  Tomorrow is also Rob’s big going away party with the guys he works with and all his friends in Vegas.  I also wish I were there.   I however will be babysitting…I think, since it is my brothers anniversary.  Sunday will be my big day though.  I don’t know how many of you know, but I am a huge baseball fan.  The Chicago White Sox are my favorite team but I am not there to cheer them on.  Anyways Steve (my brother) grew up with Curtis Granderson who is the Detroit Tigers’ Center Fielder.  We are going to go to the game early and hang out with him since Detroit is in Seattle playing the Mariners.  Baseball will definitely be something that I miss about America.
